Went to the doctor yesterday

“Doc, can you help me? I have a situation.”

“I’ll sure as hell try. What’s the question?”

“Can you pull this iv out of me?”

“Excuse me? My ear has been buggin me.”

“This iv. I need it pulled out of me.”

“Son, you just got here. I didn’t do anything. You aren’t making yourself clear.”

“I have been here and I think I have made myself quite clear. This iv. I want it outta me.”

“No one has stuck you with an iv. You’re speaking incoherently.”

“I don’t think that you understand.”

“Well please guide me and give me a hand.”

“I got this constant feed.”

“…A constant feed?”

“Yes! A constant feed! I need this iv outta me!”

“There is no iv. There is no feed.”

“I’ve gotta break this addiction. It’s killing me.”

“Is that the situation? The addiction?”

“The addiction is the situation. Haven’t you been listening?”

“You’re starting to lose me.”

“Lose you?! I’m losing me!”

“What are you talking about?”

“This feed, hooked up through the iv.”

“What is this iv?”

“It’s everything.”

“But where?”

“It’s everywhere. I need to cut the feed and pull out this damned iv.”

“I see no iv…unless it’s one foreign to me.”

“It’s not foreign.  It's not foreign to you or me.”

You either get this or you don't.

If you do then you know it goes down one of three possible ways.

Can you figure them out?
